Dianne W. Smith, age 75, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025. She was born and died in New Orleans, LA. She was a faithful member of Franklin Avenue Baptist church and was always ready to lend a hand or have a really good laugh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Loretta Watson and her loving husband, Ferdinand Smith. She is survived by her two children, Larry Reed Jr and Thiyonka Brown; a brother, Essex; four sisters, Linda, Brenda, Jacquelyn and Kim in addition to grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Dianne's life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 pm. She will be interred at a later date in All Saints Mausoleum located in Metairie Cemetery.
