I MET MS. EILEEN ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO AT OCHSNER DIALYSIS. SHE MADE SURE ALL MY QUESTIONS AND WORRIES WERE ANSWERED. SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HER FACE AND SHE COULD BE SILLY AT TIMES TO MAKE YOU LAUGH IF YOU WERE FEELING DOWN. I ALSO REMEMBER WHEN ALL THE STAFF AT DIALYSIS WORE BANDANAS ON THEIR HEADS WHEN SHE CAME BACK TO WORK AFTER STARTING CHEMO TO SHOW HER SUPPORT   . SHE TAUGHT ME TO FIGHT AND DON'T GIVE UP. I'M SORRY I DIDN'T HAVE THE CHANCE TO LET HER KNOW I GOT A TRANSPLANT. I KNOW GOD AND HIS ANGELS ARE ALL LAUGHING AT MS. EILEEN JOKES AND FUNNY STORIES. MAY GOD WATCH OVER ALL OF MS. EILEEN FAMILY YOU ALL WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child.  Our deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

I had gone to high school and graduated with Eileen from Riverdale, unfortunately, I didn't spend much time with her then and hadn't really seen her since high school, but was reunited with her last March while I was undergoing hemodialysis at Ochsner for my first time. Eileen and I started talking and didn't stop.  Her spirit, her enthusiasm, her knowledge of dialysis and most of all her contagious smile helped me so much get through that particularly hard time in my life. We would sit for hours and talk and laugh.  She was an inspiration for me, even today, of strength and courage.  I am very sorry for your loss, but I am very glad to have been been placed in her life again.  May God bless everyone who was touched by Eileen in their lives.

Ms.Bev,I am so very sorry for your lost.I can't imagine what it feels like to lose a child.I want you to know you will always have a daughter in me.

  It was a shock to hear about Eileens passing. My brother and I are deeply shocked and saddened. Our thoughts and prayers are with Kenny and Steven and with Larry and the kids. She'll be missed.

Eileen was my aunt. She has been in my life since i was 1 year old.. she is  the reason why i have decided to go to school for radiology.. when i was only 5 years old eileen taught me how to give her, her insulon shots.. she was such an amazing woman and i am very blessed to be able to call her my aunt.. she was always there for me when i needed to talk about anything.. she was there for me when i needed to study for my 1st medical terminology test and she was soo proud of me when i got an A on it.. and i will continue to make her proud!!! I LOVE U EILEEN!! you will always be in my thoughts every second of the day!!

Eileen was a very postive and up beat individual who cared about others.  Never a bad word or gesture about anyone.  Always had this beautiful smile on her face. Eileen you will be missed.  To the family, please accept my condolences and may God keep you and your family.

Larry,Lauren and Zach--Eileen was a very special wife and mother to you all. She was always a very happy and upbeat person. I have known Eileen since high school and even back then she was a very happy person. I do
not ever remember her with a frown on her face. We will all miss her
pretty smile, her great spriit and her way about life, she fought to the end. Eileen you will be miss so very much by your family and friends you left behind. Your faith and courage will be carried on to all that loved you. To all that knew Eileen she would always put a smile on your face. If you were not having a good day, just call Eileen and by the end of the conversation you were smiling and laughing, she would make sure of that. 
Larry, Lauren and Zach now have a very special angel looking over them and keeping them safe. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Eileen we miss you and we will always love you, our sweet, smiling angel in heaven.

I met Eileen at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Kenner about 12 years ago. It was a talk on the Lord in the Holy Eucharist. I've only really known her since I've been teaching Lauren piano lessons, but she surely was and still is an inspiration to me. A very deeply spiritual person is who she was. Last year as she was starting her treatment, Good Friday was approaching and she told me that she wanted to share in the suffering of the Lord. She was an amazing example for us all to follow.

I am very sad at the lost of my cousin. I will always remember her smile and energy. Although grieving today, I will smile tomorrow when I think of her.

Eileen was such a beautiful person, in many ways.Our hearts are saddened by her passing, but are glad to have known her. She was an inspiration and leaves behind lovely memories. We offer our condolences to her family.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so thankful that I had 10 years with Eileen! She was the sister I never had! I miss her more and more every day. My heart aches for all of you. Just know that Steven and I are here for you.  We love you always.

I met Eileen at the dialysis unit where she worked. She was always full of energy and happiness. She was very much loved by the patients, and they continue to ask about her. She would always make my day when I saw her. She was a beautiful light. We all miss her terribly. My prayers go out to you, the family, may you find strength in knowing she is your own personal angel watching over you in heaven.

Eileen was like no one else I have ever met --- Her strength and determination were incredible! And kept smiling no matter what! Always more worried about others than herself. I cannot even begin to express the sadness for your loss. I am so glad that Eileen and I were able to reconnect through the wonder of technology. Eileen was an amazing woman, I met her my first day of chemo last year. She had this glow about her, and could lift my spirits when I thought no one could. I will miss our talks of the Twilight novels :) and her smiling face. I'm so sorry Larry and will keep you and the kids in my prayers.

It was an honor to call Eileen, my cousin, and "lil sis".  So many happy memories, from the day she was born and Uncle Kenny saying, "we have beautiful little butter ball"!,her little southern accent when she came home from N. Carolina, babysitting you & treating you like my little doll, putting on make-up & playing dressup, running to the window to watch the choo choo train, listening to records and dancing, summers swimming & playing games! Eileen as my "junior bridesmaid" and years later I was her "matron of honor"!  The birth of Zach & Lauren,showers, weddings, Christmas gatherings, lots of beautiful memories!  I will miss Eileen more than words can say, her beautiful smile, laugh, love and awesome positive attitude! I know she is lighting up the heavens & watching over all of us!  I love you Eileen!
