Elizabeth Schafer Schafer Wucher

Elizabeth Schafer Wucher was called to her heavenly home on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 94 years of age. Daughter of the late Harry and Hattie Schafer. Beloved wife of the late Elmo A. Wucher for 65 years. She is survived by her daughter Judith Wucher Willem, sister Dorothy Schafer Pietruccia and grand-daughter-in-law Linda Danner Willem. Grandmother of the late Gavin Willem and Garrett Willem.

The family would like to thank Leah Rutledge and leslie Jones for their compassionate care. She served her Lord faithfully in youth work at Gloria Del Lutheran Church and in women's service organizations at both St John and Fires English Lutheran Churches.

Relatives and friends are invited to First English Lutheran Church, 3701 Cleary Avenue, Metairie, LA on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 10:00 am and join in a celebration of her life in services at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements by Garden of Memories Funeral Home.
