Ella Ann Owen Mabile

Ella Owen Mabile, age 85, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 10, 1930 in White Castle, La. and has been a resident of Jefferson Parish for over 56 years. She was a devout Catholic who attended St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Ella was a very dedicated owner and employee for Morvant’s Surgical Garments for over 40 years serving the metropolitan area. She is preceded in death by her husband Lordge J. Mabile, they were married for 52 years. She is survived by Donald Mabile (Melinda), Elizabeth Achord (Wayne), David Mabile (Debbie), Glenn Mabile and Barbara Mabile. She will be dearly missed by her 12 grandchildren and 18 great grand-children, numerous nieces and nephews and all of those who knew and loved her. Friends and Relatives are invited to attend visitation on Saturday April 02, 2016 from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:30 pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana 70006. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in St. Rose, La. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Susan G. Komen and St. Jude Children’s Research.
