Ellen Yager Menesses

Ellen Yager Menesses, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the age of 77. She was a retired employee of Whitney National Bank for 33 years. Beloved wife of Donald R. Menesses for 56 years. Mother of Robert D. Menesses (Debbie), Donlen M. Reuther (Bubby) and Geralyn M. Mouillé. Grandmother of Christina Menesses, Haley, Mark, Taylor and Emily Reuther and Damon and Darrian Mouillé. Daughter of the late Gerard J. Yager and Elizabeth Ellen Mahoney. Sister of John G. Yager. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Ellen’s family is very appreciative to her doctors at East Jefferson General Hospital and to her caregivers for their support and care.

Relatives, friends of the family and employees of Whitney National Bank are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 10:45 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
