Ernestine Mendoza Claverie, age 90 passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Wife of the late August L. Claverie, Sr. Mother of Melanie C. Lemoine (Jude) and the late August L. "Gus" Claverie Jr., (Marie). Grandmother of August L. "Gus" Claverie III, Tammie Claverie, Jude Lemoine (Colleen), Brian Claverie (Melissa), and Mark Lemoine Sr. (Courtney). Great grandmother of Kristin Kahoe (Rocky), Christian Claverie, Tori Sculthorp, Alyssa Frederick, Mark Lemoine Jr., Hunter Lemoine, Zack Lemoine and Ryan Claverie. Great great grandmother of Makayla Kahoe and Rocky Kahoe Jr. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by her granddaughter Kim Ann Claverie. Ernestine's family was her life no one could love their family more than Grandma Tina, our "Queen Tina" Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment in Lafayette #1 Cemetery.
