Mrs. Esther Clements Moran Esteves

Esther Clements Moran Esteves passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Esther was a native of the Irish Channel, a former resident of Metairie, LA and a resident of Kenner, LA. Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Moran by first marriage and current wife of Paul A. Esteves. Mother of Barbara A. Moran and Joseph E. Moran, Jr. (wife, Deborah Bourgeois Moran). Daughter of the late Laura Warne Clements and George P. Clements. Grandma of Beth Moran Faulstich and Brian Moran. Grammy of great grandchildren Gage and Tristen Faulstich from Beth and the late Jacob Faulstich and Eva, Gabriel and Murphy from Brian and Jennifer Moran. Sister of the late George L. Clements, Harold Clements, John (Buddy) Clements and Marguerite Clements. Esther was a wonderful mother, great dancer, especially with her current husband Paul, who both belonged to many clubs, namely “Nu Kappa Psi” and the American Legion, et al. Esther was a former member of the Krewe of Diana and award winner of Garden Clubs of Metairie. Creative Esther played piano, sang, was a perfect seamstress and enjoyed making crafts. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday morning, October 16, 2010 beginning at 9:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s Chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Special thanks to special angels Beth Moran Faulstich, Nessie Krantz Garcia and Fran Krantz, Family Home Care and Ochsner Home Care for their devotional care.
