Eva Evelyn Boudreaux

Eva Evelyn Boudreaux, age 79, of Hammond, Louisiana passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Adam and Odette Rome, she is predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years, Emile Boudreaux, Jr., and her siblings, Huey, Adam, Floyd, Roy Rome, Lois Chapelle, Barbara Mitchell, and Bertha Claveria, and her great-granddaughter, Jaden Eva Boudreaux. She is survived by her children, Emile Boudreaux III, and Victoria Lynn Guitreau (Russell), grandchildren, Shane Michael Boudreaux, Russell Wayne Guitreau, Jr., Courtney Lynn Faulkner, Megan Evelyn Guitreau, Dustin Monroe Corter, James Joseph Boudreaux, and Chanze Lawrence Boudreaux, Ja'nyia Grace Ruis, and 8 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was very devoted to God and enjoyed saying her rosary daily, as she would say. Eva was a very loving, caring, and giving woman. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, playing cards, BINGO, and watching her soap operas. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A Visitation for Eva will be held Friday, April 14, 2023, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 pm in the Leitz-Eagan Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Rest Lawn Park Cemetery & Mausoleum, 3540 US-90, Avondale, Louisiana 70094.
