Evangelina Pobre Salazar passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the age of 85. She was born in Manila, Philippines and resided in Kenner, Louisiana. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Education and retired as an English teacher.
She was the beloved wife of the late Felicisimo Salazar and mother of two sons, Wilfredo P. Salazar (Rosalie G. Salazar) and Reynaldo Pobre.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am.
