

Fannie Nell Boudoin went home to be with our Lord on July 11, 2021. She passed peacefully and surrounded by family after a long battle with dementia. A resident of Metairie, La for approximately 65 years, born on July 11, 1937 to the late Stanley Emmons and Estelle Scroggs Scheidel. Widowed by her late husband, Hotson Boudoin. Then proceeded by fiancé, Raymond Botti.
She is survived by her children; Dawn Olasin (Kris), Danny Boudoin, and Darlene Aldridge. Six grandchildren; Tiffini Leaverton (Corey), Katie Cordes (Craig), Kyle Olasin (Agnes O’Hanlon), Klay Olasin, Olivia Boudoin (Shane Dantone), and Derek Boudoin, as well as 8 amazing great grandchildren.
Fannie’s energy and love for adventure will forever be missed. She enjoyed family gatherings, many friends, casinos, gardening, was a remarkable seamstress, avid card player, and president of NAIM (2003).
Family would like to thank the marvelous staff at Sunrise Senior Living Center, Memory Care Unit. The kindness and care given to Fannie was extraordinarily wonderful and will never be forgotten. Thanks, also, to Heart of Hospice for the additional care.
Visitation will be at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Friday July 16, 2021 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home's chapel. Interment will be at St. Roch Cemetery No. 2, New Orleans, La.
