Frank Francis Barousse

Frank Francis Barousse, age 88 years, died at Metairie, LA on Wednesday, June 1, 2011. A resident of Jefferson Parish over 55 years. Beloved husband of the late Cecile Bordelon Barousse. Son of the late Myrtle Delaune and Frank Francis Barousse, Sr. Father of Gordon E. Barousse and wife Audry of Madisonville, LA and Constance Barousse Bordelon and husband Brian K. Bordelon of Moureauville, LA, and the late James Joseph Barousse. Brother of Albert and Joseph Barousse and the late Edward Barousse. Grandfather of Chris Barousse and wife Kelly, Blake and Brett Barousse, Venessa B. Lewis and husband Capt. Brent Lewis, and Travis Bordelon. Also survived by four great grandchildren, Regan and Jacob Barousse, Reese Sipos and Layden Lewis.

Mr. Barousse was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, member and longtime usher at St. Angela Merici Church, a former Jefferson Parish Deputy Sheriff, former owner of FB Electric Co., and a retired Electrical Inspector for Jefferson Parish.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass from the Metairie home of THARP-SONTHEIMER-THARP, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. at 43rd St., on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Visitation on Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until service time. Interment in Garden of Memories.
