Frank Aycock Watson

Frank Aycock Watson, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Age 70 years, a native of Minden, LA and a resident of Great New Orleans, LA for 45 years, and Baton Rouge, LA for the past 5years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Deborah “Debbie” Gilman Watson.

Devoted father of Tyler Clayton Watson (Julie) of Baton Rouge, LA and Ryan Kendall Watson (Rebecca) of Metairie, LA.

Grandfather of Amelia Frances Watson, and Avery Grace Watson.

Son of the late James William Watson and Grace Turner Watson.

Brother of the late William Turner Watson.

Frank served on the Metairie, LA YMCA management board, headed Greater New Orleans United Way in 1985, was Chief of the YMCA Indian Guides for 1997 and was President of Greater New Orleans Funeral Directors Association in 1986. He was an avid Fisherman, Golfer and most of all he adored his family and grandchildren. He never said no to anyone who needed his help.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at The Preserve at Harveston Club House 10869 Preservation Way, Baton Rouge, LA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 PM.
