Frederick J. Foltmer, III, age 64, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Mr. Foltmer was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for 41 years. Beloved husband of Gwen Foltmer for 43 years. Father of Frederick J. Foltmer, IV (Robyn) and Shelley Foltmer Fernandez (Jack). Grandfather of Amber, Lanie, Maddie Mae and Baby Jack. Brother of Pamela Foltmer Schock and Clarisse Foltmer Dupre. Son of the late Frederick J. Foltmer, Jr. and Aileen Lagasse Foltmer. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Mr. Foltmer was a U.S. Navy veteran and was secretary treasurer of the Almost Uptown Marching Club. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 beginning at 10:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 noon in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s Chapel.
