To the family of Freyde Lopez, I used to be a customer of Freyde's many years ago and just found out that he has passed on. I am so sorry for your loss!
I first met Freyde when my car broke down at the corner of the Exxon station. I ran up to a mechanic for help and it was Freyde. After being disappointed by shoddy work from others in the past, overpaying for services I didn't need, and thinking there were no ethical mechanics left, I fully expected a high bill, but Freyde fixed the problem and didn't try to milk the situation.  My bill was so reasonable I could only conclude that God's mercy was upon me, and He had my car break down right by the best mechanic in town. Freyde was God's mercy in action!
He was always honest and truthful about what service my car needed most, and which ones could wait until I had the finances.   He could be trusted and he did awesome work. He held my old car together until he told me it was time to let it go.  After Katrina, I bought a new car and started taking it to the dealership because of the warranty, but I never forgot Freyde...still the best, most trustworthy mechanic I have ever known! 
May the Peace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, continue to fill your hearts, and may He continue to wrap His loving arms around you.

Te escribo aqui porque estoy haciendole un Diario a los ninos para q estas fotos no se pierdan el dia que yo me vaya. Ya Sabes tu y yo siempre estamos hablando y gracias por escuchar mis locuras hahaha y guiarme, En Especial con el Proyecto de Hampton y Tus heramientas. Pero como quisera abrazarte y decirte,  "feliz cumpleanos y Dia de los Padres". 70 primaveras hubiese cumplido,tan joven mi Papi, pero gracias a Dios te tuve por un buen rato y pude disfrutarte tanto, muchas ninas no tienen la bendicion de una relacion como la tuya, mia , y Poodies. Le Rezo a Dios que siga dandole la luz a todos mi seres queridos que nos esperan. Desde el Cielo cuaidanos a todos en especial a mis ninos bellos. Te adoro con todo mi Corazon, me da tanta felicidad que te guste fumar en mi atico, me trae lindos recuerdos de Katrina hahahah. Aunque muchos no se den cuenta, yo se q estas alli, porque nunca te fuiste, te transformaste......mi penjamo.. 
P.S - ya me quite el miedo de manejar en lluvia, hahahahahaah

I did not have the honor of meeting "papa" but he has been in my prayers since his beloved daughter Maray told me of his brave fight.  He will remain in my prayers and I know he is in a place that he has earned and suffers no more.  To my dear friend Maray's entire family please accept my condolences and know that you are all a hero in my book for how you cared for your dear father through his brave battle.  The sadness you feel I pray can be eased by knowing he suffers no more and is looking upon all of you and will be by your side as your beloved "papa"  I feel for all of you and know your pain must be overwhelming at this time.  I will continue to pray not only for your papa but for all of you.

Maray, I'm at a loss for words as my heart is breaking for you & the family at this moment. I know this has been a long, rough road for the family but be in solace knowing that your dad is with the "Ultimate Creator" resting in peace. You're all in my prayers and I love you all dearly and I thank you for allowing me into your life during these last several months as a family friend.

Death is sad reality, but his passing away has left a great void in our hearts witch is going to be very difficult to fill. His presence will be missed even more by those he shared his personal life with as well as his professional life. We are feeling so very sad, he was pretty active, loving, generous, caring... and words are short... to describe honestly... this indeed came as a shock to us. We may not be there every moment with you but we are always there for you as a friend, a helping hand, someone you can reach out to whenever you want.
