George Preston Spaulding Jr.

George Preston Spaulding, Jr., age 74, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Son of the late George P. Spaulding, Sr. and Eucyle Weir Spaulding, Beloved husband of Anne Kolwe Spaulding. Father of Michael Spaulding, Patrick Spaulding (Gayle) and David Spaulding. Grandfather, known as “Pops”, of Justin, Lucas (Rayni), Clare, Ryan and Colin Spaulding. Brother in-law of the late Frank and Rita Kolwe, the late Evelyn and Frank Giroir, the late Marion Kolwe, the late John Kolwe, Doris and Sal Portera, Ronald and the late Joann Kolwe, Kathleen Shields and the late William Shields. Also survived by many, many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Spaulding was a retired chemical engineer from Chevron Chemical in Belle Chasse and a member of the People Program for 10 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 3601 Transcontinental Dr., Metairie, on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment in Lake Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Father Seelos Center, Teresians Sisters, or People Program.
