Georgie Heim Sill

Georgie Ann Sill was called to our Lord on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the age of 84. She was born on March 21, 1938 and raised in the French Quarter. She was a proud graduate of Holy Angels of New Orleans and a resident of River Ridge for the past 53 years.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Henry John Sill II, her parents, Marie DiMacco Heim Anderson and Joseph Heim, and her siblings, Frank Heim Sr., Benny Heim, Josie Wagner, and Catherine East.

She is survived by her loving children, Kim (Ronnie), Henry (Debbie), and Georgie (Chris), eight grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Joe Heim of McKinney, Texas

She was retired from Jefferson Parish Schools after 35 years of service in Special Education and worked for The Christmas Village for the past 21 years. She will forever be missed and loved by ALL!

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 11AM – 1PM with Mass to begin at 1PM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
