Gerald Philip Albert Roser

Beloved husband of Gloria Baggott Roser after 62 years of Sacred Marriage.

Loving father of Gerald “Jerry” Roser Jr. (and wife, Melanie) and Timothy “Timmy” Roser (and wife, Alexis).

Devoted grandfather of Gerald Roser III, Daniel, Stephen and Jacob Roser.

Son of the late, Albert and Thelma Roser.

Brother of the late, Gloria Foret (and her late husband, Louis) and the late, Joyce Carter (and her surviving husband, Norman)

Half- brother of Albert Roser.

Brother-in-law of the late Joseph Baggott (and his surviving wife, Becky).

Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Roser was a United States Navy Korean War Veteran, retired from New Orleans Public Service / Entergy, former member of numerous Carnival Organizations and presently a member of the Krewe of Thoth.

He was a member of the Senior Friends Group, a Parishioner of Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church, and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him.

Aged 84 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, on Friday morning January 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
