Hector H. Hermida, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. He was a native of San Pedro Sula, Honduras and a resident of Kenner, LA. Beloved husband of Olga Tabora Hermida. Father of Hector H. Hermida, Jr., Carlos Enrique Hermida, Edwin Gerardo Hermida, Allan Maurice Hermida, Juan Francisco Hermida, III and the late Maria De Los Angeles. Grandfather of Mychal Ricardo Hermida, Harmony Anne Hermida, Andrew Maurice Hermida, Kalon Enrique Hermida and Ethan Adriel Hermida. Son of the late Juan Francisco Hermida and Joaquina Flores Hermida. Brother of Anna Maria Hermida, Xiomara Hermida, Nancy Hermida and the late Juan Hermida and Maura Hermida. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 beginning at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Metairie Cemetery.
