Helen Strickland Greene, 82, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010, at Chateau Living Center, Kenner, LA. She was born in Seffner, FL and moved from Port Arthur, TX to Kenner in 1983. She is survived by her daughter Karen Vezina and husband, Keith, of Kenner, LA; her granddaughter, Kimberly Renee Vezina, of New Orleans, LA; three sisters, Addis Warren of St. Augustine, FL; Irene Hall and husband, Curtis, of High Springs, FL; Roberta Williamson and husband, Ernest, Jr. of Wesley Chapel, FL; and three nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Eugene Strickland; her mother, Carrie Bell Strickland; her husband, Roy Albert Greene; and her grandson, Clinton Jeffrey Vezina. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, TX, 77055, under the direction of Earthman Hunter’s Creek Funeral Home.
