Irene Garza Taylor passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2011 . Beloved wife of Jack D. Taylor after 56 years of marriage. Loving mother of Kenneth D. and Jack E. “Jet” Taylor. Sister of Idolina Truluck, Juan Y. Garza, Aida Slayton, Graciela Hernandez, Pedro Y. Garza and Crismela Raborn and the late Rafael Y. Garza and Emma G. Trevino. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Taylor will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Aged 84 years, a native of Hebbronville, Texas and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for the past 31 years.
