Janice Jean Machado

Janice passed away early Sunday morning after a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer. Jan is survived by two children, Teresa Talieh and Richard Machado both of California. Jan is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Evelyn Bellardi, her sister Patricia and her son Michael.

Jan lived the happiest part of her life in Metairie, LA where she was a retired licensed practical nurse. Jan was active in the Silver Sneakers and Lakeside Friends exercise and social group with her dearest of friends where Jan always seemed to have the biggest smile and the loudest laugh. Jan knew how to have a good time and enjoy life. She will be dearly missed.

In keeping with Jan’s wishes, funeral services will not be held.
