Janice Clerc Schott, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Wife of the late Joseph G. Schott and wife of first marriage to the late James C. Crawford. Mother of Sister Elia, O.M.C. (Mary Catherine Crawford), Alan M. Crawford and Barry L. Crawford. Daughter of the late Rene F. Clerc and Florence L. Carstens. Sister of the late Marcia C. Rourke, Florence C. Keagy, Rene F. Clerc, Jr., Marjorie C. Cain, Milton C. Clerc, Sister Mary Natalie Clerc , Philip B. Clerc and Betty C. Dooley. Survived by 5 grandchildren. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Jefferson. She retired as secretary to 5 Deans at Tulane Law School.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 3310 Jefferson Hwy., Jefferson. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canon Hospice or Carmelite Monastery, 1931 W. Jefferson Rd., Pittsford, NY 14534.
