Jean Bordelon Culotta, age 77, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Mrs. Culotta was a native of Albany, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA. Beloved wife of John Culotta, Sr. Daughter of the late Simon and Marie Bordelon. Sister of David Bordelon (Judy). Aunt of Shane Bordelon (Dennise), Brad Bordelon (Colleen) and Kris Bordelon. Stepmother of Theresa Swindle (Gary) and John Culotta, Jr. (Mary). Grandmother of Collette Biedenkopf (Tim), Jamie Grimley (Patrick), Katie Laughlin (Phillip), Harold Fischer (Meg) and John Culotta, III. Cousin and best friend of Camille Stricker. Also survived by 5 great nieces and nephews and 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Culotta was very loving and devoted to her great grandchildren. She was loved very much and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 beginning at 10:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
