Jenny O'Rourke

Jennifer Erin O’Rourke Dufrene went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday evening, July 3, 2016. Jenny was born on January 1, 1980, and was 36 years old. She was the beloved wife of David Shaun Dufrene. Beloved daughter of Karen Liles O’Rourke and Leo J. O’Rourke. Sister of Jessica Rozier Johns (Peter) and Sarah Elizabeth Krifka. Aunt of Justin, Grady, and Hollis Belle. Daughter-in-law of Skip Monk and Cindy D. Monk. Sister-in-law of Christopher and Matthew Monk. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, 1LT Jonathan David Rozier, and her grandparents, Roy F. and Marie Liles and John B. and Mary Margaret O’Rourke. She was also survived by Tchoups, Pepper, and Penny, her beloved fur babies. Jenny was a native of Jefferson Parish and a resident of Kenner for many years. She was a 1998 graduate of Archbishop Chapelle High School, and received her undergraduate and master’s degree from University of New Orleans. She was employed as an accountant by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality. Jenny leaves behind many loving family members and friends, and will be greatly missed by all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Thursday afternoon, July 7, 2016 at 5:00.
