Joseph Anthony Bua

Joseph Anthony Bua passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 surrounded by family and friends. Husband of Alice Galyean-Bua, father to Nicholas and Christopher. Son of Rena Glaudi Bua and the late Michael Joseph Bua, stepson of Larry Angerdina and grandson of Esther Glaudi and the late J.C. Glaudi. He is also preceded in death by grandparents Antoinette Bua Orlando, Joseph Bua, and Joseph Molay. Brother to Michael (Jill) and Peter (Angela). He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joseph was born in New Orleans and a resident of Metairie, a graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School (’81) and earned a BS in Business from LSU. He is remembered as an avid sports fan, especially his beloved Rummel Raiders, LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. He will be missed by many friends and family. A Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 25, 2013, at St Christopher Church, 309 Manson Avenue, Metairie, LA 70001. Friends and family are welcome to visit at church from 11 AM until the start of Mass. After Mass, all are invited to a celebration of his life at Knucklehead’s, 3535 Severn Avenue, #10 (off of West Esplanade and North Hullen).
