Lena Mae Hingle

The angels came to take Lena Mae Hingle home to heaven at the age of 92, on October 3, 2012. Lena was born on August 26, 1920 in Paincourtville, La, daughter of Paul LeBlanc and Adeline Comeaux. She was preceded in death by her husband Felix, sister Sadie Morales, great grandson Shane Michael Rauch, and son-in-law William Pedersen. She is survived by her two daughters Glenda Rauch (Robert) and Janice Pedersen, and her sister Dottie Williamson. Lena was known as Maw Maw to six grandchildren, Keith Rauch (Kim), Steven Rauch (Lisa), Lori Tucker (Alton), David Rauch (Donna), Shelley Morkovsky (Russell), and Stacey Alderink (George). She had 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was “Aunt Mae” to her nieces and nephews. Lena was retired from the Federal Reserve Bank after nearly 30 years of service. She was a long time parishioner of St. Louis King of France. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie, on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2:30 PM. Visitation will be from 12:30pm until mass time. She will be laid to rest at Hope Mausoleum, Canal St., New Orleans.
