Lenora Marie Bosarge

Born to the late Karl Pratt and Stella Bonnecaze Pratt on September 27, 1944.

She was a native of New Orleans and lifelong resident of Harahan, La.

Lenora lived her life to the fullest! She always had a sense of wonder of the beauty around her. She loved being outdoors and spending time in her garden.

She also enjoyed traveling, sports and was an excellent cook. Lenora was an active member of the Elmwood Fitness Club where she made many friends.

The loving mother of Amanda Bosarge Bonnecarre (Lee), Matthew Bosarge (Debbie) and Kendra Bosarge Chong (Ricky). Grandmother of Ryan Bonnecarrere (Bridget), Brittany Bosarge, Brett Bosarge, Ricky Chong, Jr., Renee Chong, Crystal Chong and Leah Chong, and also survived by 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean Ann Pratt Hymel (Severin), Deborah Pratt Rodrigue (Talbot) and brother, Karl Pratt (Janice). She leaves behind a legacy to a host of nieces and nephews and close friends.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day. 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 am, where friends may call after 10:00 am. In Lieu of Flowers, Lenora had requested that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
