

Lillian T. Michale Segari, age 83, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, June 29, 2024. She is predeceased by her parents, the late Mary Saragusa Michale, Cas P. Michale, her loving husband of 28 years, Joseph C. Segari, Sr., step-grandson, Joseph C. Segari III, and her sisters, Josie Leto (John), Rosemary Pace (Buster), and Betty Pourciau. She is survived by her children, Belinda McAdams (Wayne) and Bridget Raymond, step-children, Joseph Carl Segari, Jr., and Carl Joseph Segari (Nadine), grandchildren, Megan (Robert), Ian (Lauren) and Sean, step-grandchildren, Bradley, Anthony, Olivia (Kaleb) and Matthew, great-grandchildren, Matthew and Emma, great-step grandchildren, Kendall, Anthony Jr., and Brysen, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a devout Catholic parishioner at St. Benilde Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Altar Society, and donated her time to the Adoration Chapel. One of the proudest achievements of her life was when she and her husband Joseph were awarded the Order of St. Louis medal for their service at St. Benilde Church. Before she retired, she was employed by Lakeside Hospital as a medical transcriptionist.
The family would like to thank Bertha Davis for her loving care, patience, and understanding with our mom, as well as APEX Homehealth and ACG Hospice for all of their compassion during our mother's final days. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will occur at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St., Metairie, Louisiana, on Monday, July 8, 2024. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, with the Mass to follow. Interment will immediately follow at St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery, 3421 Esplanade Ave., New Orleans, Louisiana.
