Louise Randolph McAbee

Louise Myatt McAbee, born on February 16, 1920, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Franklin McAbee; her daughter, Anita McAbee Noles; her parents, James Alfred Myatt and Rena Johnson Myatt and her sisters: Esther Myatt Blandy, Leah Myatt Kolb, and Margaret Myatt Baines. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra McAbee Doland and Rena McAbee Baudouin (Irby); her grandchildren: Karyn Noles Kearney (Bill), Elizabeth Doland Burgbacher (John), Claire Baudouin Edwards (Bryan) and Irby T. Baudouin (Debbie) and her great-grandchildren: Jackson Bewley, Pierce Bewley, John E. Burgbacher, Leah Edwards, Parker Edwards, Davis Edwards, Emma Baudouin, and James Baudouin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Louise was a gracious, loving wife, mother and grandmother with a kind, generous heart, always ready to help others before herself. She was a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 52 years. She attended college in Chapel Hill, NC. She has been a member of Parkway Presbyterian Church for the past 52 years. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Emeritus Senior Living Residence for their compassionate and excellent care.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
