Margaret Lawrence Couvillon, age 99, passed away on Sunday, August 23. Beloved wife of the late Milton C. Couvillon, Jr. Loving mother of Milton C. Couvillon, III (Karen), Lawrence G. Couvillon (Charlene) and Karen Couvillon Scariano (David). Proud grandmother of Cheryl Kuchka, Kerry Couvillon, Jenny Thomas, Christie Couvillon, Marc Couvillon and Katie Couvillon. Great-grandmother of Samantha Couvillon, Grant Thomas, Sofia Couvillon and Isaac Couvillon. Daughter of the late Beulah Green and George Lawrence. Sister of Naomi Batte, Lloyd Lawrence and the late Ruth Helmker, Gladys Rogers, George Lawrence, David Lawrence and Beverly Melancon. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Boulevard, Metairie on Thursday, August 27 at 1:00 pm.
