Marguerite Fletcher Orr, age 84, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015. Resident of River Ridge and native of Independence, LA. Beloved wife of the late Stanley E. Orr. Loving mother of Suzann France (the late Clyde), Karen Babb Weaver (Victor), Lana Shrake (ex-husband Brian Shrake, Sr.) and the late Ellen Lachat. Proud grandmother of Gregory France, Nicholas France, Tiffany France, Shane Babb (Sandi), Kevin Babb, Verona Weaver, Ricky Weaver, Bryan Shrake Jr., Devin Shrake, Rebecca Lachat Bilello (Gabe) and Brian Lachat (Jenny). Great grandmother of 22. Daughter of the late Louise and Marion Fletcher. Sister of Dorothy Dupuy (the late Ronald), Faye Norton (Art), Marion Fletcher Jr. (Carol), the late Elizabeth Middleton (Alfred), Evelyn Fletcher. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Marguerite retired from J.C. Ellis School as a baker. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and making sure they were well fed. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:00 am.
