Beloved wife of the late, Willis H. Spahn Jr. after having shared 49 years of marriage.

Loving mother of Randall Spahn, Leslie Cobar (and husband, Salvador), Sally Spahn, Kenneth Spahn (and wife, Lisa), Eric Spahn, Julia Azzinari (and husband, Stephen) and the late Susan M. Spahn.

Proud grandmother of Nicholas Cobar (and wife, Emily), Rebekah Cobar, Kristen and Kelli Spahn, Sian and Mark Azzinari, Joshua Cobar, Kathryn Spahn, Michael Cobar, Jacob Spahn and Timothy Cobar.

Daughter of the late Hilda Saigeon and Albert Gaines.

Sister of the late, Aline Johnson.

Marilyn was an active Parishioner of St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church, where she taught C.C.D. for many years, especially enjoyed delivering Eucharist to the home bound and working with the R.C.I.A. Program, enjoyed water color painting and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew her.

Aged 82 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Harahan, Louisiana for the past 52 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church 7100 Jefferson Hwy. Harahan, on Monday morning October 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in St. Vincent Soniat Cemetery #1.

Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
