Mitzi Ann Lovecchio, age 54, went to her heavenly peace on Friday, October 13, 2023 after enduring a lengthy illness. She is the beloved daughter of Sharyn L. Habeney and the stepdaughter of Michael W. Habeney. She is the sister of Michael J. Habeney, Travis J. Habeney, Jonathan M. Habeney and Stephanie H. Hopkins. She is also survived by her loving aunts, an uncle, cousins and nieces. She was greeted in heaven by her loving grandparents, Frank and Yvonne Lovecchio and also her dog Niko who was the love of her life. She graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School and did a stent in the US Navy. She was an avid Saints and Notre Dame fan.
The visitation and service will be private for family members only. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a Memorial Mass at 1:00 PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard in Metairie, Louisiana. Interment will be in Metairie Cemetery.
