

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Jeansonne, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of the New Orleans community. Patricia passed away peacefully on July 20, 2024, at the age of 93.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Patricia was a lifelong resident who dedicated her life to her family and faith. She was a proud mother to her three sons, Lyle, Mark, and Clay, all of whom were raised with strong Catholic values and an emphasis on education.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Patricia was a faithful attendee of St Clement of Rome Catholic Church in Metairie, LA, where she found comfort and strength in her daily prayers and community involvement. She instilled these values in her family, ensuring that her legacy of faith would continue through generations.
Patricia was also a cherished wife to her late husband, Lester, with whom she shared 43 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a loving and nurturing home filled with warmth and joy.
Her family was her greatest pride and joy. Patricia was a beloved grandmother to nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with them, passing down her wisdom, love, and the traditions that defined their family.
In addition to her dedication to her family and faith, Patricia was known for her involvement in the local community and her generous spirit. She will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering strength, and her ability to bring people together.
Patricia was also an avid game show watcher, renowned for her remarkable knowledge and ability to answer most questions. Her sharp mind and competitive spirit made watching game shows a delightful experience for those around her.
Patricia is survived by her three sons, Lyle, Mark, and Clay, her nine grandchildren, and her four great-grandchildren. She is also remembered by her extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A funeral service will be held at St Clement of Rome Catholic Church on July 26, 2024, at 1:30 PM.
Patricia will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
