Paul J. Hirsch

Paul J. Hirsch passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born in New Orleans to the late Frank D. Hirsch and Ruth Bluestein Hirsch. He is the brother of Barbara Hirsch Gershkowitz (Robert), Bruce Hirsch (Karen) and the late Bradley Hirsch (Suzanne). He is the uncle of Madeline Gersh, Jeffrey Gershkowitz, Michelle Hirsch Datz, Melanie Mauney Hirsch and Sarah and Isaac Hirsch and the great uncle of Brooke Dziadul, Andrew Datz, Gabe Lucroy and Cypress Bott. Paul was a very special person and a proud volunteer at East Jefferson General Hospital. Paul was an avid bowler and a lifelong Saints fan. He will be fondly remembered. The family sends their heartfelt gratitude to All America Personal Care for their compassionate and loving care of Paul over the years.

Services will be privately held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie, LA on Thursday, December 5, 2024. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in Gates of Prayer Cemetery.
