Paul Joseph Velino passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, November 9, 2017. He was 77 years old. Beloved husband of Mary “Judi” Velino of 44 years. Loving father of Shawn Velino (Stacie) and Sheri Velino Marchese (Jason). Grandfather of Tyler, Lauren, Riley, Adriana, and Sloane. Brother of Sammy Velino and Jake Velino. Son of the late Sarah Velino and Joseph Velino. Paul was a native of Chicago and a resident of the New Orleans area for over 62 years. He was a graduate of East Jefferson High School. He proudly owned Velino’s Barbershop in River Ridge for many years and later retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board. Paul was loved by many people and will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Wednesday morning, November 15, 2017 at 11:00.
