Phillip Taylor

Phillip Taylor entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the age of 60. Phillip is the son of the late Mose J. and Cecile Taylor. He is the brother of Geraldine Slack, Joseph Taylor Jr. and Pauline Matthews. He also leaves behind a devoted niece, Wanda Slack. He was a long time employee of Krauss and Dillard's Department stores. Phillip was a graduate of McDonogh #35 Senior High School, class of 1970. He also attended Southern University New Orleans.

Relatives and friends of the family including Asbury UMC, The City of Love Full Gospel Church, employees of Ochsner Medical Center, Lutcher Elementary School of St. James Parish are invited to attend funeral and burial services. Visitation will begin at 12 noon. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA, 70001. Arrangements are being handled by Garden of Memories Funeral Home. Reverend Simon Chigumira is officiating.
