Mr. Raymond H. Eppling

Raymond H. Eppling, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for 45 years. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Mickey) Jourdan Eppling for almost 59 years. Father of Craig H. Eppling (wife, Dema), Douglas J. Eppling (wife, Marlene) and Kimberly E. Champagne (husband, Lonnie). Grandfather of Stephen Eppling, Reneé Eppling, Jessica Eppling and Matthew Champagne. Son of the late Henry P. Eppling and Florence Sievers Eppling. Brother of the late Alvin J. Eppling, Audrey deBrueys and Dorothy Barrie. Mr. Eppling was a lifetime member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Friday morning, October 29, 2010 beginning at 9:30 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s Chapel.
