Raymundo Fino

Raymundo Fino entered into eternal rest on Saturday February 12, 2011. Beloved husband of Argelia Rodriguez Fino after 61 years of marriage. Loving father of Dilma Mejia, Gladys Alegria, Olga Carias, Raymundo Jr., Luis and Cesar Fino. Father-in-law of Pablo Mejia, Luis Alegria, Jesus Carias, Maria, Juanita and Brenda Fino. Son of the late Gabriel and Amelia Fino-Sanchez. Preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters and 1 grandchild. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 6 brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Fino was a retired carpenter, formerly working at Pontchartrain Beach and Mobile Building Inc., past president of Victoria Soccer Club, a member of Caballero de Suyapa , a parishioner of St. Theresa de Avila Catholic Church and will be loved and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Aged 84 years, a native of La Ceiba, Honduras and a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana for the past 44 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Garden of Memories Funeral Home Chapel 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, Louisiana on Wednesday morning February 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may visit on Tuesday evening February 15, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
