Rena Strickland Baudier Fucich

Our beloved Rena Strickland Baudier Fucich, born August 26, 1944, age 70, of Metairie LA, died on Tuesday at home. Rena was the loving wife of Don Fucich. She was a retired teacher/administrator for both Jefferson Parish School System and Wilkes County School System (GA). She enjoyed volunteering her time and helping others at numerous charities. Even after being diagnosed with COPD, she continued to live life to the fullest. As she quietly entered into heaven, she was surrounded by her family. Rena is survived by her husband, Don, two children, Craig Baudier (Zuany) and Tami Baudier Manale (Ryan). Rena was the daughter of the Lily Kate Norman Strickland and Charles Howard Strickland. She is survived by her 5 grandchildren, Corey Scott Murphy, Amber Lynn Murphy, Benjamin Baudier, Charles Baudier and her future grandchild, Baby Manale.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was loved by all and her guidance will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
