Rick Provensal passed Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at East Jefferson Hospital, after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was 57 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sandra LeBlanc Provensal; his two daughters and son-in-law; Jamie Diamond, Christy and Kevin Acosta; One son and daughter-in-law; Clint and Ashley Provensal; 3 Grandchildren; Derek Diamond, Brody Provensal, and Kate Acosta; four brothers and sisters-in-law; Roland and Bootsie, Robert and Bonnie, Randy and Eileen, Ronald and Cindy. He was proceeded in death by his father Col. Earle C. Provensal, Jr. and mother Mary Louise Provensal; brother Rodney and sister Sandra. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Monday, December 26, 2011. Visitation from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment in Lakelawn Mausoleum.
