Robert "Robbie" Lynn Cade

Robert "Robbie" Lynn Cade, age 71, of Destrehan, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Bobbi Cade Anderson and his parents, the late Rosemary Gauza Cade and William Cade, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lynnrose Danna Cade, son in-law Harold Anderson, brothers, William Cade, Jr. (Karen), Gary Cade (Ingrid), Darryl Cade (Cindy), Patrick Cade (Helena), sister, Jacquelin Cade Schmidt (Christian), sister in-law Maria Knox (Kevin), brother in-law Perry Danna and Joseph Danna, Jr. (Colleen), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He retired from the Jefferson Parish Fire Department after 35 years of dedicated service as a District Chief. He was a proud member of Local 1374 IAFF, where he served many years on the Executive Board. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed his retirement at his properties in Ferriday, Louisiana, and Cuba, Alabama. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him closely, especially the one he called "the son he never had", Michael Rodrigue.

A Visitation will occur on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana 70006, followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM in the Leitz-Eagan Chapel. Interment will immediately follow, at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 11316 River Rd., St. Rose, LA.
