Robert "Bobby" Joseph Dick III, age 72, of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 with his family by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Robert J. Dick, Jr., and Cornelia Murray Dick, father in-law John A. Krecek, and mother in-law Violet D. Krecek. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Karen Krecek Dick, his four children, Karen Cawyer (Jonathan), Robert Dick (Bridie), Cornelius Dick (Theresa) and Shane Dick, grandchildren, Cody Dick, Alyssa Bovie Cawyer, Destiny Cawyer, Hannah Cawyer, Shane Dick, Jr., Violet Dick, Cornelius Dick, Jr., Katelynne Dick, Kathryn Grindle (Jeffery), Robyn Dick, Isabell Dick, Angelina Dick, Hailie Dick, Robert Dick, Jr., Joseph Dick and John Dick, his siblings, Sharon Loar (Ken), Ilene Ambert (Jerry), Lynne O'Donahue (Pat), Rita Verdin (Rodney), and Mike Dick (Denise), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a long time member of the Irish Channel Corner Club, and he enjoyed marching in MardiGras and St. Patrick's parades. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the New Covenant Fellowship Church, 3830 Williams Blvd., Kenner, Louisiana with Visitation from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 pm.
