Robert “Bob” M. Hoover, age 77, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Mary H. Hoover. Devoted father of Deborah Hoover, Patricia Hoover and Michael Hoover. Brother of James Gaylin Hoover (Lynn) and Rachel Koger (late, Samuel). Loving uncle of 16 nieces and nephews. Son of the late Robert and Margaret Hoover.
A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for over 70 years. Bob retired from LP&L/Entergy after 42 years of service. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
