Rosemary Lagasse

Rosemary Ellen Mullen Lagasse, went to our Lord on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at her home at the age of 82. She is survived by her best friend and sister, Joyce Mullen Monaghan. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents Mildred Clara Hermann Mullen and Dennis Gerald Mullen. She was the beloved wife of the late Milton Joseph Lagasse, Sr. and the loving mother of Geraldine “Gerri” Lagasse Mora and Milton J. Lagasse, Jr. and mother-in-law of Robert J. Mora and Nancy Colleen Knoblock Lagasse. Rosie was blessed with grandchildren, Michelle Lynn Mora, Milton J. Lagasse, III, Robert J. Mora II, Brian P. Mora and Danielle M. Lagasse. Mrs. Lagasse was a parishioner of St. Christopher Church, member of Lighthouse of the Blind Fun 101, a member of St. Christopher’s Circle of Friends Club and Activity Club.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Christopher Church, 309 Manson Ave., Metairie, LA 70001 on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be held beginning at 10:30 A.M. until time of service, followed by interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Highway, Metairie, LA, 70001.

In lieu of flowers, masses to St. Christopher Church or donations to Lighthouse of the Blind, 123 State St., New Orleans, LA 70118 are preferred.
