Roxie Marie Rodrigue

Roxie Marie Rodrigue passed at the home of her lifelong loving friends, Mercedes and David Baughman in Katy, TX at the age of 88. A native of Hahnville, LA and a lifelong resident of Jefferson, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Rodrigue, Sr.; her son, Ernest Rodrigue, Jr. and parents, Lena Hymel Vicknair and Paul Vicknair. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roxie was a former teacher of St. Agnes Catholic Church School and Riverdale High School. She was also a member of the Altar Society at St. Agnes, member of the Charity Crib and formed the Terrace Civic Association in Jefferson. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3310 Jefferson Hwy, Jefferson, LA on Saturday, March 23,2013, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until Mass time. Interment will be in Our Lady of Holy Rosary in Taft, LA on Monday, March 26, 2013 at 10:00 am.
