Sidney Ernest Trouard Jr.

Sidney Ernest Trouard Jr. passed away peacefully on Monday, February 1, 2021 at the age 76. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Ernest Trouard and Anne Marie Prieur and his brothers, Paul Elliot Trouard and Robert Louis Trouard. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Savilla Jane Trouard, their children, Sidney Ernest Trouard III (Kim) and Catherine Elizabeth Wagoner (Patrick), and grandchildren, Sidney Ernest Trouard IV, Elizabeth Jane Wagoner, Samuel George Trouard, and Caitlyn Isabella Wagoner. He is also survived by his siblings, Phyllis Anne Dodson (Price), Jeanne Marie Mixon (Troy), and Stephen Francis Trouard (Debbie), and sisters-in-law, Carmel Trouard and Michele Trouard.

Sidney was a devout Catholic and family man who loved spending time and being with his family. He was an avid USTA tennis player and enjoyed watching sports such as football and golf. He loved the rich culture of New Orleans, the local food, festivals, and Mardi Gras. He will be remembered for his values and sense of humor, which earned him the nickname of “Tiger the Tease”.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 1PM-3PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA.
