Sterling Walker, Sr., age 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 5, 2011, surrounded by his family. Loving husband of Clarice Muller Walker for 61 years. Loving father of Sterling J. Walker, Jr., Darlene Adams and Tammy Hoefeld. Father in law of Diane Walker and Jamie Hoefeld. Devoted grandfather of Chad Walker (Robyn), Ashley Walker Reiss (Christian), Tyler Walker, Danielle and Ryan Hoefeld. Proud great grandfather of Jack and Cooper Reiss. Son of the late Juliette & Alfred Walker. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Retired employee of the original staff of the Louisiana Superdome. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Wednesday February 9, 2011 at 1:00 pm.
