Steven Jerome Corlett

Steven Jerome Corlett, age 72, passed away at his home surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, in Kenner, LA. He was born on October 12,1950 in Mobile, AL and moved to New Orleans as a child. Steven is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Rubeinia Corlett; his daughter, Tina Marie Allen; his grandson, Michael Samuel Allen, and his brother, Michael Joseph Corlett. He was preceded in death by his father, Fayette Earl Corlett, his mother, Savanah Aline Corlett, and his brothers, Robert Allen Jones and Fayette Earl Corlett Jr. During his career, Steven worked for Diversified Foods for 30 years and Penske for the last 15 years. He was known for his relentless dedication and commitment to his work. He loved his job and the people he worked alongside. In his free time, Steven enjoyed helping people in any way he could. He had a passion for cooking and creating delicious meals to share with his loved ones. He was a devoted Saints fan regardless of their performance. He loved watching drag racing and going to car shows with his wife and his brother.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral home, 4747 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.
