Susan Klein

Susan Angelico Klein, age 70, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011. A life-long resident of the New Orleans area and a graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School, Mrs. Klein enjoyed a rewarding career in the banking industry with Security Homestead, FNBC, Bank One and Chase Bank. She was the devoted widow of Nelson F. Klein, beloved mother of Karen Klein Nichols and Kristine Klein Marino, adoring grandmother of Blake S. Nichols, Austin G. Nichols, Taylor C. Marino, Emily K. Marino, Grant N. Nichols and Blake E. Fullmer and cherished mother-in- law of Kerry J. Nichols and Christopher P. Marino. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph J. Angelico and Mary Agnes Peters Angelico. She is survived by her dear brothers, Joseph F. Angelico, Michael J. Angelico, and Robert S. Angelico, and her loving sister, Eileen Angelico Bongiovanni. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family, friends and colleagues and are invited to celebrate her life on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00am, with Mass being celebrated in the chapel at 11:00am. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery #3. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
